hes was right. for the record i have always hated Kevin durant. I tried to like him for my rockets fandom but it's not working. i hate him. he ruined the team with his burner. i hate him.

oddly one of the main things Suns fan will say about the KD experience is that they made a mistake not pairing him with a legit point guard. We made the same mistake. Notwithstanding the FVV injury but not to have a backup plan was foolish.

It doesn’t matter who we acquire. Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum were not good enough for him. Ime Udoka’s team will underperform offensively and overperform defensively. Now let’s extrapolate what that means.

If you understand basketball and how defense is exactly as valuable offense, then you understand that means he’s an average coach. He’s bringing nothing in net value. A coach’s only job is to squeeze more out of a team with the parts he’s given.

If you’re under the fairytale notion that offense is more important than defense, then he’s not even average. If you think offense is more important than defense, I don’t know how you can possibly support him. We have improved at nothing offensively except offensive rebounding since Silas left and we added hundreds of millions of dollars in talent and development.

Championship couches are balanced for the most part. They are rarely one-way specialists. This might contain errors but you get the idea:

A lot of you guys are rewriting history and acting like the guys we dumped are stars. Bruuuuh

 

Trading for Durant was a mistake but not because of who we traded. Dillon was hot for a while and reverted to the mean, then got hurt and got a DUI. Jalen may pan out some day, but not anytime soon. The 10th pick was meh. I wanted to trade FVV instead of Jalen (not sure Phoenix would’ve taken it) and give Amen and Jalen a chance to run a wide-open offense. I was in favor of the trade for Durant in any case, but was very wrong. If we were bound and determined to get off Jalen’s contract, we should’ve just traded him to another team like Washington for a protected FRP or for a better fit than Durant. Durant is a cancer and trading him this off-season will be very difficult without taking back an equally albatross like contract, even if the Rockets were so inclined.
