    AP poll comes from various trained monkeys (idiot sports writers) across the country. Not sure how they are choosen.

    The USA today/old UPI "Coaches Poll" is done by a bunch of coach's towlboys who run a list of their favorite 25 teams to the fax machine right before a deadline. That is the only explanation I can come up with for how Iowa (1-loss) was ranked and ASU (undefeated) wasn't just after ASU beat Iowa like 40-7.
