Alan Haynes is a great guitar player in the Stevie Ray tradition. He plays bluesy and fast with a lot of tone. When I was underage (back in medieval times...the mid to late 1970s) I used to sneak into the old Dome Shadows club to see Alan Haynes and the Stepchildren. About a year ago, I played with Alan at a jam at the Big Easy and told him that. He laughed and said "but you don't look a day over 30!". (yeeeeah....riiiiight!) If you haven't seen him, go check him out. The Big Easy will charge a $5 cover for him, but it is well worth it.

Well........my wife and her nephew have convinced me to take them out on the boat and wet a few hooks. I doubt we'll be back in time, so it appears as though I'm gonna miss this one. Hope you have a great show.

one of these days, RMT, i will get to see your band while I'm in h-town.

I read up about your band , do you guys still play at Big Easy on open jam night? how easy is it for a harp player to sit in for a song?

i am really interested to hear you and Larry play.
