When the lanes are coming two ways into a drive through, some bastards like to cut you in line after you've been waiting in line correctly.

What do you do in this situation?

This has happened to me twice

The Starbucks near 59 and west airport seems to be the one that this occurs most.

Call the place after you get home and raise hell about the drive-thru allowing two lines of cars to converge into one line. That's ridiculous. If it's in Houston, it could be dangerous. That's what I'd do. Likely wouldn't change anything, but it'd make me feel better. Simply putting up a sign saying that cars must stay in one line could fix it. Maybe.

Drive thru set ups like that are naively optimistic. What do they think this is? A society?

Across the board Starbucks franchises have the most overworked drive-through lines that spill out into the street and screw up traffic.

I'm glad I have no interest in their product, because waiting in those lines looks like a total nightmare.

Here's basically the gist of what happened in two scenarios:

Car A snuck in from the opposite lane (top photo)

and car B snuck in between the supply truck parked in front of the Starbucks (bottom photo)

I just assume he or she is having a bad day and move on. Too many crazy people out there and also too many other things to worry about to be bothered by them.

Your scenario sounds like an ******* cut the line (not two lanes merging into one). The business should have arrows in the direction the line should form.

I live near a McDonalds and Chick-Fil-A with a double drive-thru. If it’s not done right it gets tricky as which car goes first when both orders are completed and the window is backed up.

Double lane drive throughs are annoying, if I can drive slightly further to another location that doesn't have them I will.

This is why you should drive a 30 year old truck with cattle guards. Who cares if it gets a scratch, you can exert your dominance and just say hell no and block them from their treachery without incurring more costly damage to their vehicle. Yeah they might glare at you as they wait behind you, but you know they aren't about to step out as you blast some Public Enemy from your Booming system.

@Xerobull knows all about getting punked in parking lots. I bet he can provide some advice on what to do in these situations.

It's impossible for someone to be rude at a Chick-fil-A. Those people are so nice and the food is delicious.

Not only did you create a thread but you even drew a diagram of what happened. This is obviously a very cereal matter. There’s only one thing to do the next time it happens. Well actually 5.

Step 1) Get out of the car.
Step 2) Slam you car door.
Step 3) Smash the persons window.
Step 3) Drag them out of smashed window Face/Off style.
Step 4) Beat their Mfckin ass.
Step 5) Post about it on ClutchFans.

You lost me at Starbucks. Maybe see a therapist if this warrants a thread and a diagram.

Don't mind double lane shenanigans at McD. Fisticuffs will be thrown at an In-N-Out drive thru
