THIS IS YOUR FAQ. READ IT FIRST, ASK QUESTIONS LATER. Site/Format: Fanstar Head-2-Head Number of teams: 12 teams. Schedule: 21 week regular season. Playoff Schedule: * 2 divisions. 6 teams make the playoffs (2 division winners + 4 wildcards). Division winners get a first round bye in the playoffs. Player Position Determination: ESPN Player Profiles Draft Process: * 12 hours per pick. I am not going to change the time limit (unless we are under the gun to finish) so save the b****ing about it. * You must draft a player at each position, otherwise you won't be able to complete your lineup (see Roster/Lineup below). * I highly encourage everyone to send a list to either myself or someone that picks behind you. If you are at the end of a round where you pick twice and you are skipped, you are skipped for both picks immediately. That's the price you pay for getting to pick back to back. * The draft is live and SLOW, so expect delays. We always get through the draft with a day or so to spare and I expect the same this year. Roster/Lineup: * 12 active players per roster * 1 IR spot for an injured player * 5 starters (C/PF/SF/SG/PG) and 3 flex players per game Weekly Lineup Deadline: * Monday @ 6pm CST Scoring Rules: * Points 1 * Assists 2 * Rebounds 2 * Steals 2 * Blocks 2 * Three Pointers Made 1 * Turnovers -1 * Technical Fouls -3 Let's get to drafting! 1. moes 2. blacktopKing 3. sammy 4. jent 5. flinttown 6. shaggy 7. Rocketball 8. fade 9. Pimp 10. Bruce 11. Ziggy 12. PSJ
I'll take Lebron James and pray that I can handcuff him with Grandpa Lebron and Muppet Lebron in the later rounds.
And thus obtain the greatest single advantage granted by any player in any fantasy sport. You could draft Luke Walton, Stromile Swift and Dikembe Mutombo with your next three picks and still have a competitive chance with LBJ as your anchor.
Not sure why so many people take Lebron before CP3. CP3 dominates some statistical cats. that could only be had with 2-3 guys. Whatever he puts in the hoop is just a bonus. I would go on but I don't want to give out my strategy...
You might want to familiarize yourself with our scoring system. This league is fantasy points-based H2H. Dominating categories doesn't really matter; only raw FP output is important, and James is a man among boys with regard to that. Paul is a very nice pick, though. I would have taken him at #2 as well.
Where are all those tools we had last year? Cheat sheets? I guess it doesn't matter. With the 11th pick Ill probably have two McGrady's and Geiger starting.
Do you slackers read anything I post? The main post has been updates with all of the details from the previous thread. Go ahead and login to your teams, change your passwords and update as you see fit.
The draft board should be working on the site. Please make your picks there. Also, make sure to put in an email address. I think I did this for most everyone though.
