I've never had a saltwater tank because of the perceived maintenance issues, but i hear they are easier to take care of these days.
Whats with you geezers and your fish chat? Are aquariums the new "in" thing? What happened to Matlock, Poligrip and Get off my Lawn?
They are in fact much easier these days with the newer methods and equipment. As long as you have the money to throw at it, salt tanks are not that difficult. Thats why it is taking me a while to get that saltwater tank up and running, gotta buy equipment a piece at a time. I figure I should have the first one up and running sometime in the next couple of weeks. If you decide to do a salwater aquarium Deck, I can point you to a fantastic forum to learn everything you could possibly need to know...just let me know if you need that information. and last but not least....Bob Monkeyson...just went and checked my inbox....evidently I did receive a email from you, but it got must have gotten lost amongst all the tech emails I get everyday...I dont recall seeing it before now. Ill get to the substance of it later today or tomorrow, got a full day of work staring me in the face today.
This is what happens when youngsters try to comment on stuff before their time. Matlock was OK, but it was bush league compared to the earlier and superior work of Columbo and McMillan and Wife.
you know how it is with these kids....you are either in their peer group, or you are a senior citizen. Susan St James....drool.
Don't you dare compare Andy to that sinful music the sexual libertines are using to try and corrupt our youth. Barney, Opie, Floyd, and the gang were great back in the day and if you young people would watch more of that show you would see the lessons taught are still relevant and they just might make you a better person. Instead, you listen to all this hip-hop and read depraved comic books and sleep in on Sunday mornings. Tsk, tsk.
I'm pretty sure she was my first celebrity crush. When they did the pillow talk scene where they figure out the solution and she was wearing the football jersey that she slept in... WOW!
Definitely the first "MA" rated TV series! I've heard that as well. Who knows? It'd be fun finding out. I already have bags of crushed coral, pieces of coral, and other stuff I'd need. I just need the tank and the space.
NO no no no no no no...a thousand times NO. Crushed coral = nitrate factories = death to marine creatures(especially so for actual corals) If you do it right...the only coral you will have in your tank will be live coral. I offered to link you to the best saltwater forum out there if you needed....that post tells me you need it. http://reefcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=104 Im there as well....the people there are very friendly and helpful.
huzzah i finally made it to 3 dots after being stuck on 2 for like 2 months. and i got it for a thread and the comment left was "yer thred is ghey" maybe the rep feature needs to be fixed now?
R2K, I've had the bags of crushed coral in my garage for 18 years! They're left over from my job at a fish shop, when I was seriously thinking of opening my own shop and worked in one to get the experience. I'm not evil! (thanks for the link!)
