Just a poll in a vacuum - forget about the trade value, who we would get back, etc.

Do you want Harden to be traded?

    Poll incoming.

No. I dont think we can get equal value for him in a trade and besides all that I still love Harden

Can't give up on a player with that level of talent. Chances of him getting his head straightened out are way higher than us acquiring anything even remotely close in value through a trade.

    i voted yes.

why not, if w/ the right players/picks in return? i am convinced we're not getting a 'ship w/ him being the #1.

2yrs from now, we'd be looking at another dh12 situation...

I'd trade him for: Curry, KD, Westbrook, Griffin, or KAT. None of those are going to happen so no way.

No you don't trade a top 5-7 player, unless you get a better player. He's young. Players like him don't come around often.

Only if we can get in on one of those terrific deals Kevin Pelton mentioned.

That **** was embarrassing, how do don't of those guys even have a job???

If this rockets team was in LA and playing like this You think these articles would be coming out? Hell no.

That's the price to pay when You with dwight Howard the media jumps on you any chance you get.

After all this hate iv been reading this morning I think I want to keep harden and howard on the team and see if they can start kicking ass.

Maybe dmo comes back and we take off let's see!?!?!

Hopefully this lights a fire under both their asses and they come out the break on a 10 game win streak and jump to that 5th seed.

Plain and simple Harden is HOU's Franchise player. Morey needs to hire a coach that will put in a offensive system that fits Hardens skillset but is not straight up hero ball. (player movement no more camping everywhere) This coach must a be able to hold every player accountable on defense as well. This coach needs to get harden to play off the ball as well.

if you believe harden cant lead a team to the finals, then you should know there's no way this team can get afirst option w/o giving up too much. no point in having afirst and 2nd if they're surrounded by crap like tmac and yao were.

i do think we can get equal value for harden. but he wont be traded

I am not voting for now but eventually yes....

not this year, probably not next year, but in the future.

You do not have to trade him immediately but bench him more. Show who is boss.

He is thinking team basketball is sporadically passing it to his team mates, shooting when he feels like it, flopping and dancing to the FT line.

He got the wrong notion about winning team basketball. He is more and more playing street ball with shooting Free throws. Skip to the beard.

I would trade Harden for Wiggins, Rubio, and 1st round pick

No. He's like the hot GF that could be wifey material if only she stopped throwing stupid drunken tantrums every 4 months.

    Can he change? We'll see.

so if we dont trade harden, or not even consider the possibility of it,,, just because he's the "franchise player",,, what do we do a yr or 2 from now? resigning him seems to be the only option, right? but what if he doesnt resign?

too early to think about that? i think not.

otoh, voting yes doesnt mean we start to do it right away, tho.

    Good analogy.

I had a GF like that but she wasn't hot and the tantrums were weekly. But damn, she could cook.

It is difficult to get an equal return.
