Why not? Capella to NO for signed Julius Randall and hopefully a draft pick. Sign cousins with the extra money. Cp3, harden, Tucker, cousins, Randall. All bigs shoot threes and rebound

 

the minimum approach doesn't really help the case either. the rockets signed a bunch of guys who didn't fit at min a year ago and the board kept telling us its a no risk situation. well those no risk situations all were part of a 11-14 hole that the rockets had to climb out of

This would be a no brainer... you could even play Cousins and Capela together in some lineups.

And millions of dollars has a way of making people get along. I think the biggest problem would be Cousins not getting enough shots because of captain dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble not being willing to play in an offense or pass at all.

 

Hell no. Plus there's already enough drama between Harden and CP3. Cousins would just add more fuel to the fire.

You didn't watch much of the season if you though 3 weeks of Melo on the team mean disaster.

 

lmao melo sucked from day 1 and was a horrible idea to begin with. theres absolutely no use in even trying to make a case for that.

Cousins was still starter level last year while rehabbing. He would also be one of the top 3pt shooters on the team, probably better than Chris Paul. He is probably twice as good as Kevin Love and may come at a bargain due to his injuries

 

If they trade Capela then yes. Guy played at about 60% during the regular season and still put up 16/8.

 

At this point Cousins seems to be a center version of Melo. Very skilled, but doesn't give you a positive impact.

 

You called it a disaster. I didn't do any harm to the team int he long run and neither would giving Cousins the same type of chance. If it works it's great and if it doesn't he's gone.
