He made absolutely the right play on the ball in the 9th yesterday. There is literally no difference to the Astros between a Double, Triple, or HR there because that run is meaningless. If the RedSox get the next guy in, this guy is going to get home regardless. There is no point at all trying to hold him to a double - it's an out or nothing.
Our outfielders in this series were absolutely fantastic, its not just the throw to the 3rd base and home plate to nail down the runners and also the great catch by Reddick against the wall. But you can see they are reading the ball must better and ran more decisive. There are many flyballs that actually you can see more than one Astros were in place and on time to make a play on the ball. Reddick is ridiculous good and he even ran all the way to catch one of the shallow mid field flyballs.
He makes it interesting but in saves situations the man is one of the best. Ice in the vains but in a no save situation he roles out there with gas cans and matches.
Naturally, he's a true fireman. When he comes in to pitch he's gonna put out a fire, even if he has to start it himself.
