I am wondering what folks do now, do you still test to see if it is Covid - or do you just go nah, it is a cold and move on? DD
It depends on the symptoms, but for myself mostly no. I've dealt with bi-annual sinus problems (almost always coincides with the major temperature changes of the spring and fall) every year of my life since I can remember, so unless I have an irritating cough I can't kick (rare for me) I won't test. My kids I test more aggressively though just because they are in daycare.
Rarely. If someone in the fam has a cough and we're planning to see grandparents in a couple days? Then yes we will test. But if someone has a minor cough and congestion and we're just doing our everyday routine, then no.
I was sick last week and tested for it. My SO had traveled and came down with something. I have like 10 kits in stock, might as well. Don't want to be around my parents or co-workers or anyone if I have it. It's EASY to avoid people for a few days. We have the tech.
I test if/when I feel sick but luckily that isn't very often and my exposure to other people is pretty limited.
Probably not. I didn't test when covid last knocked me out for a week and another week for recovery while working. One of those things where you know. I got a booster and flu shot in January, so I figure I have bases covered.
Sometimes, though I've only been sick three times since the pandemic started and all three in the last year or so.
We are supposed to go to Sherwood tomorrow, all I am is stuffed up, no cough, nothing else, feels like a minor virus, but last time I felt like this it was Covid. DD
I test if I have a serious fever. Ten days ago I came down with a sore throat / head cold, which was not that serious ... no fever ... but it did linger until yesterday. Now, I think I should have tested :shrugs: ... especially since the sore throat might have indicated covid???
I usually just grab a pepper shaker and inhale. If I smell it, I don't test. If I don't smell it, I'll test.
A ton of people including myself and my wife got "allergies" this week. Maybe it's just allergies, but definitely could have been something minor going around.
I was sick late last week and this week. Didn't test, did not feel anything like when I had covid back in 2020.
Test for covid? Certainly you all have figured out what a fraud PCR “tests” are. What the actual ****
