I was wondering if there was any news about his back? Haven't heard any news about multiple teams trying to acquire his talents.
He's been good so far--knock on wood. I just don't think that any team would want to take a risk on a player who failed a physical (most likely as a result of cold feet from Detroit rather than there actually being a problem), unless said player is/was/has/could be a superstar.
Latest news is all RFAs without back-problems have signed already, in this summer of every team having loads of capspace. Teams are allowed to request med records for review prior to making official offer sheets...right?
I'm pretty sure that trade attempt with Detroit set him up for this scenario where he hasn't received any bonafide offers, just mild interest from other teams. He's probably not going to do better than the QO at this point.
Eh, according to Codman, he'd do better than the QO, but not by much. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=10641960&postcount=266 Still, I'd like to know where these 3-4 year offer sheets for DMo are coming from.
Olympics would have been the best way for DMo to silence doubters on his back status. But probably too risky
Yeah, You'd think very few player would play without a signed contract. Back issues or not, it would be like Lebron playing college ball,,,pretty stupid.
I knew you'd ask............... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://youtu.be/embed/9Ew48PeSemQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> http://youtu.be/9Ew48PeSemQ

I met D-mo at the Burger Joint couple weeks ago and I chatted with him about his health. He said he doesn't have any back problems whatsoever ever and is fine and healthy.
It was reported that he went to a specialist in Vancouver who gave him a clean bill of health. Part of dealing with any injury is getting the confidence to play like you did before - Dmo is now healthy, he should be good to go for this year. I hope he signs the QO - and is an UFA next year. DD
Dmo seems to be doing well as far as just his normal daily routines. Hes been out and about around town a ton this summer. But the real test is really when the physicality of the game begins and how his back responds once again over the course of a season.
