Is anybody thinking about getting cable/satellite? I am trying to refer people to Directv so you and I can save $10 for 10 months just as the commercial says. They have a good offer now that includes free NFL sunday ticket max. PM me for details.
What's that supposed to mean? By my moniker I am automatically poor? No on a serious note, I actually pay more for comcast but get more channels like HBO and don't have to sacrifice reception during storms.
I've had time Warner and Comcast. Direct tv kicks the crap out of them both Whole home DVD Use your iPad to stream tv Use out iPad as a remote control Nfl Sunday ticket on tv redone on iPad Great picture and sound But begging for referrals to save $10 a month? Lame
I had Comcast for years and then had Dish Network. I hated them both. For the last three years, I have had Directv. It has it's problems, but is shangri la compared to the customer service debacle and crappy user interface that is Comcast. Oh yeah, and the Sunday Ticket is awesome.
Love Directv. I don't know anyone who has it that hates it. What is there to even hate? Has great channel lineups and has great pricing. The only people I can imagine hating it are people who had it a few years ago when they still lost signal in the rain.
Reading this as I can't watch season Premier of boardwalk empire on dtv because of heavy rain. Is that not supposed to happen?
reminds me of when i used to refer people to columbia house so i could get my 2 free cds. sorry. dishnetwork here.=(
Comcast because of internet speed (bundle). I almost got DirecTV + Verizon but my apartment complex charges a fee for hanging a dish. If I ever move into a house (next couple of years) I will Venture off into the DirecTV+Verizon FIOS internet. BestBuy guy who almost talked me into DirecTV gave a convincing speech on why I should go with them. They seem legit.
Good product. So So pricing. (lots of bait and switch going on) HORRIBLE customer service. Don't believe me though...look at their Facebook page. Literally hundreds of complaints.
We have had a few signal problems in the rain but very temporary. I loved the DirecTV conversion experience until I got my first bill.... Whatever pricing inducements they offered were fine but that was not the total bill. When I got my first bill, they had added a per TV charge to actually WATCH the programming not just have it "beamed" to the satellite receiver. As a result, my bill went up about 50%-- still a good deal but just enough of a surprise to make me wary....
I am shopping for cable right now and spoke with DirectTV yesterday. Quoted me $118 with tax for 200 channels and 24 mps internet. Is that a good price for cable? Thanks.
