    still...i remember that drive as a kid, houston to el paso, the albuquerque, skiing, back home. in a rambler wagon.

    ski patrol had to bring me in on sandia peak one afternoon.

    Ah, Sandia Peak. We went there. Sadly, all of the trails and whatnot were closed due to fire danger, but it was still pretty, even if June/July isn't ski season.
