So i got a laptop for $549 from frys yesterday and i was wondering if i got it at a good price. I have a 14 day bring back option on it and was wondering if i should. Its an MSI A6200-491US Specs: i-3 2.4ghz processor 4gb ram 500gb 15.6 led screen blu-ray drive Thanks
If you like it, can't find a comparable one, and you're satisfied with its features and it all works, and it makes you happy, then Spoiler  THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID! Spoiler I kid. Don't worry about it if all of the above apply... But if it bothers you too much and you can't seem to let that go, then return it. Don't make us justify what you feel is a bad purchase. From APRIL? I don't think he can go back in time to buy it at that sale price.
Thats pretty much the same specs as my $500 Black Friday HP, only I don't have a Blu-Ray player. So I'd say that you got a good deal. Just looked it up, mine is a 2.27GHz
Here is a Dell Inspiron for $450- http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dell+-+...lack/2513164.p?id=1218331587099&skuId=2513164 i3, 2.54GHz Everything else same except no Blu-Ray Not sure if it is a better deal or not but brand name is more recognizable. Frys is having an anniversary deal. They have a Toshiba Core i3 for $399- http://shopping.chron.com/FSI/Page....rsion=Houston Cronicle&facing=false&pagenum=7 And a Toshiba with a Core i5 for $550- http://shopping.chron.com/FSI/Page....rsion=Houston Cronicle&facing=false&pagenum=3 Not really familiar with MSi. But on raw specs, I think that you got a pretty good deal.
Frys ad today: Fujitsu: $499.99: Core i5, 500GB harddrive, 4GB RAM (after $50 mail in rebate) Lenovo: $428: Core i3, 320GB harddrive, 4GB RAM Asus: $499.99: Core i3 SECOND GENERATION, 500GB haddrive, 4GB RAM You got a good deal last week but not this week lol.
You haven't posted enough information but with a 500.00 computer you aren't exactly getting top quality anything. If I were you I'd find a computer that has an 17 processor in it and then take your chances.
Well guys, I returned it and got my money back. Then I got this thing:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834157588 HP dv7-4165dx 17.3" screen 2.2GHz Tri-core AMD processor 4GB ram 640GB hd Bluray player 9 core battery= 7+ hours! Was $850, got it for $539.99
How is my new laptop worse than the original one. Its got 140gb more hd space and its got a kick ass battery. The processor might be a little worse but other than that, I think its a better deal.
HD space doesnt really matter. For laptops. Size (smaller the better IMO) Processor Ability Good access to peripherals Graphics Card
