If you like it, can't find a comparable one, and you're satisfied with its features and it all works, and it makes you happy, then
    THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!
    I kid.

Don't worry about it if all of the above apply... But if it bothers you too much and you can't seem to let that go, then return it. Don't make us justify what you feel is a bad purchase.
From APRIL? I don't think he can go back in time to buy it at that sale price.

Thats pretty much the same specs as my $500 Black Friday HP, only I don't have a Blu-Ray player. So I'd say that you got a good deal.

Just looked it up, mine is a 2.27GHz

Bad measuring stick- that's a 7-month-old laptop. Tech moves fast.

Here is a Dell Inspiron for $450- http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dell+-+...lack/2513164.p?id=1218331587099&skuId=2513164

    i3, 2.54GHz
Everything else same except no Blu-Ray

Not sure if it is a better deal or not but brand name is more recognizable.

Frys is having an anniversary deal. They have a Toshiba Core i3 for $399- http://shopping.chron.com/FSI/Page....rsion=Houston Cronicle&facing=false&pagenum=7

    And a Toshiba with a Core i5 for $550- http://shopping.chron.com/FSI/Page....rsion=Houston Cronicle&facing=false&pagenum=3

Not really familiar with MSi. But on raw specs, I think that you got a pretty good deal.

The only thing you have to constantly change is the graphics card.

    Good deal if you don't have a blu-ray player or a Playstation3.

Is the 14-day bring back option extra? Did you have to pay extra for it?

You haven't posted enough information but with a 500.00 computer you aren't exactly getting top quality anything.

If I were you I'd find a computer that has an 17 processor in it and then take your chances.

How is my new laptop worse than the original one. Its got 140gb more hd space and its got a kick ass battery. The processor might be a little worse but other than that, I think its a better deal.

    HD space doesnt really matter.

    For laptops.

    Size (smaller the better IMO)
    Processor Ability
    Good access to peripherals
    Graphics Card
