Is there a mock draft that does not have us taking Nachbar? I have yet to see a single one. I would love to see Vitale answering to why Jay Will, his buddy boy, never ended up being the top PG in the L, not even top 5...and why Dunleavy didn't turn out to be more than average
I'm no Duke fan but I don't think Dunleavy will be average he's been good his whole life, he'll be good in the NBA too he's got the tools to overcome any physical limitations he may have he shoots, he runs, he's smart and he plays hard when he's on the court Of course Wilcox handed him his butt in the tourney, he'll have trouble with the stronger SF's his first few years in the NBA
Yes mine, Nachbar wont be their at 15 I would like to get him but hes not going to be their everybody thinks he will, a team will select him before he gets to 15 maybe the Wizards at eleven I said since Qyntel Woods is slipping and has been projected to be their at 15 latley, that we would select him I think he would be a good fit. 1. Ming 2. Jwill 3. Dunleavy 4. Tskitvishvili 5. Gooden 6. Butler 7. Wilcox 8. Wagner 9. Hilario 10. Jared Jeffries 11. Nachbar 12. Stoudemire 13. Ely 14. Welsch 15. Woods
I don't understand all this recent doubt about Jay Williams. He'll do just fine in the NBA. He's already quicker and stronger than most of the players he'll be going against, and he's already one of the best finishers in the league off of penetration. His defense is pretty solid and he always give it 100%. There's no way Jay Williams will fail in the NBA. The only serious question I have about him is will he be able to consistenly hit his shots over the added pressure and height he will be facing. His shooting form is not very pretty. I'm not neccesarily saying he will definitely be a top five point guard, but there's no doubt he'll be a very good player. I wonder what Bulls fans would do if Chicago come outs of the draft without Jay Williams.
I'd rather have Jiri Welsch over Bostjan Nachbar. Welsch may be 2 inches shorter but he is way more versatile, play either 1,2 or 3 spot, has as much range if not more on his J PLUS plays D. Nachbar is explosive going to the basket, but the questions on whether he can shoot the NBA three bother me almost as much about his lack of D. Houston does not need more guys who can't play D.
I agree as far as his d but let's face it this guy has amazing range from what everyone says that is his strength more so than finishing.
EddieWasSnubbed: Could you provide me a link to this mock draft? I'd like to add it to my Various Mock Drafts thread... thanks!
