Now that was kind of mean, but bloody hilarious! They were just taking out their frustrations on the group, when they should have spent the whole half booing the Lakers.

Do you think it had anything to do with some of the Laker outfits they were wearing?

Philly is like most of the eastern cities (boston, etc...) where arogance is just part of their everyday routine, they really dont do it on purpose, that is just part of their nature.

They should of played U2 in philly, and Destinys child in LA.

I don't think it had anything to do with what they were wearing. The dancers were wearing Iverson jerseys plus Kelly had on a Sixers top. Beyonce had both logos.

Philly fans were just taking out their frustrations. Plus DC didn't sound good tonight for some reason.

U2 didn't play live in LA. NBC broadcast a portion of their concert live from Boston.

Can't be, there's a sold-out N'Sync concert across the street. Philly can't have that good a taste in music.

You guys need to get off of Philadelphia fans! They're a classy group of fans with high standards! It's not like they ever threw crap on the floor after they got eliminated, or cheered while a star player lay paralyzed on the field. I mean, have you ever heard of Philadelphia fans lighting fire crackers in the stadiums of a sporting event, or throwing batteries at players that spurned them, or getting into all out brawls in the upper decks of Phillies games? Have they ever booed Santa Claus? Cut the city some slack! So what that they booed one of the hottest singing groups of today! It's not like they did anything classless!

I remember a regular season game that I attended a few years back and Destiny's Child performed during halftime...of course, this was before they were very popular so nobody really knew who they were. Well, anyway, they pretty much stunk up the place and there were a few booers but for the most part people just shrugged it off. They really sucked though, they were trying to get the few people in the seats that hadn't gone to the bathroom to stand up and clap and sing along, but nobody did and they got worse after that. Maybe they are just no good in concert...amazing how well the recording studios can make you sound. [IMG]

Now saw off...there's nothing to see here.

Probably because they weren't lip synching. Pro Tools (for the non-musicians here, it's the pitch correction/audio manipulation computer program that is used on every major label act you hear on the radio today) has ruined music because now anybody with the right proportions can be made to sound like Pavarotti.

Philly is just the most brutal place for anyone who isn't in the stands.

If Destiny's Child is so bad, I'd like to see someone reproduce them. That's always my standard. If they suck so bad, you do it better! [IMG]

Apparently Philly fans thought the lyrics were...

"you know I'm gonna diss you near the basketball net, cuz my mother didn't teach me better than that!"

The sound system sucked. Someone did a terrible job with the sound and the lighting.

And someone should have told Beyonce that wearing a hat would keep her face shadowed the whole time. Normally, they are on stage above the crowd, but on the court they were underneath the lighting.

Our Houston girls are "better than that."

What do you mean philly fans are classy. What about when Ray Allen got hurt in game 7 at philly and was laying on the floor for a few minutes and the fans were *&^#ing cheering! Great Class! [IMG]

I have seen much of the rest of the web. It is brutal and cruel and dark. CC.net is the light.

I think RocksMillenium was being sarcastic.
