I doubt the judge grants this seeing as how Rusty illegally subpoenaed her before she even filed a lawsuit. She did not have an attorney present, had her phone illegally searched and did not know what a subpoena is.
What a despicable person. This situation is beyond disgusting. I don't wish injuries on players but in Watson's case I'll make an exception
It's also funny how those Browns fans were so excited for Deshaun to come in and take them to a Superbowl, just to watch him play like crap whenever he wasn't on the sidelines injured.
Yep, and if I recall correctly (too lazy to look up and confirm), they structured Deshaun's contract so that it was more heavily backloaded so they could keep talent and put a better team around Watson those first couple of years. But his injuries and mediocre play during that time frame kind of ruined that plan, and I think they're at a place now where his cap hit is huge for the remainder of that contract. Odds are they missed their window. Edit: yeah, looked it up on Spotrac and his cap hit each year for the rest of that contract is like $64MM, whereas it was less than $20MM for each of the first two years of the deal.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the Texans traded the browns pick this year for a 2nd this year and another one next year. So, this is the gift that keeps on giving!!!! For At least for 1 more year.
The irony was that Cleveland botched a trade between the Falcons and the Texans, that seems to have been agreed to by both teams and which the Texans really liked. But as Cleveland swooped in and offered Watson more money, Watson requested the trade to Cleveland instead. Texans went to work and made a deal happen with Cleveland because Watson nixed the trade with the Falcons. Watson chasing the dollars, always the dollars. Cleveland was good before Watson and the team thought that Watson could catapult them into the superbowl relatively quickly. As the contract becomes more burdensome, it’s going to be mightily difficult to keep that team good. Watson is going to take up so much of the cap room, that Cleveland will be bargain hunting to field a competitive team that would look to stay respectable.
That's the funny part. He had that great offensive line and great defense, but played poor anyway. Now the team will get worse when he eats up their cap.
Crazy how things change in such a short time. When the trade happened it looked like it would be one of the most lobsided trades ever in favor of the browns, and now it looks awful for them
