I don't think they were accounting for the Arizona trade because those picks weren't lost to the Browns. They were just listing the players the Texans aquired with the assistance of the browns picks we received via the Deshaun trade. We probably wouldn't have most if not all these players without the Browns picks. So basically the Browns got: Deshaun Watson 2024 sixth-round pick: TBD and we got: Kenyon Green John Metchie III Christian Harris Dameon Pierce Thomas Booker Will Anderson Tank Dell Brandon Hill Xavier Hutchinson 2024 first-round pick 2024 third-round pick The final list of players aquired for Watson might not be complete if the 2024 picks are traded for future picks. It's too early to tell but 10 years from now this may end of being up there with the Cowboys/Vikings Hershel Walker trade as one of the most lopsided trades in NFL history.
but most of the value the cards got in the anderson trade were texans picks, not the browns pick. Ya, the browns pick is part of it but to say "we got will anderson with the pick we got the browns" is untrue
No one really said we got Will Anderson straight up for the Browns pick, however we wouldn't have him without it. Think of the Herschel Walker trade. Dallas' 1st round pick in 1990 (from the Minnesota Vikings) was used as part of a deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers to move up from #21 to No. 17 overall in the first round to select RB Emmitt Smith. Even though the Cowboys didn't use Minnesota's pick straight up to select Emmitt Smith he is still considered as one of the players the Cowboys eventually aquired from that famous trade. Bottom line is that Will Anderson will not be here without the Brown's draft pick.
Not our problem anymore. It would be nice for him to end up at POUND ME IN THE ASS prison where he can get unlimited massages.
The plaintiff in the latest case is said to have intellectual and mental disabilities. Good Lord if this case goes to trial. Which it is scheduled for October.
Bet the Browns would love to get out of the contract right about now. Wouldn’t surprise me if they regret the trade.
The Browns regretted the trade a long time ago. Because of his contract, they are forced to bet the farm on him again in 2024.
Sick b*stard He needs to do time. October, wonder how Hardin is going to delay this case and how much it's going to cost Watson to pay off DA/Judges to beat this rap. Looks like re-signing Flaaco just became a priority for the Browns.
