These days a torn ACL is probably a 9 month injury. Rose will miss some time next season but he should be back by January. Hopefully he fully recovers.
Damn. This is probably going to hurt his career too. For someone that relies on cutbacks and all of that, it'll be tough for him to get back to that.
Man, this is incredibly depressing. I'm a huge Derrick Rose fan and I wish him the best. I think it's pretty solidifies the Heat's chances of getting to the Finals. It's good to see other players (via Twitter) showing some love and support for a guy like Rose.
He should rub some dirt on it and play. I mean that is what they did back in the day? That sucks for the bulls, but I don't they had a real shot anyways.
its on nba.com lmfao damn well theres goes a great Eastern Conference Finals. Hope Boston beats the heat if not Indiana. It is what it is.
I think it's still a little bit too early to make this assessment about Derrick Rose. The kid is very hard worker and there are some aspects of his game he might have to tweek, but ACL injuries are pretty common these days in almost all professional sports, so you can expect to make a full recovery from an ACL injury.
derrick needs a better coach. tibs is shortening his career in half. You think pops would let this happen? Hollins or Pop, either one, would have sit rose rather than risk injury. Tibs, and chicago in general are way too selfish to let that happen. I feel bad for rose that he has to play for that team and that coach.
It's his nagging injuries that have me comparing him to T-Mac. Now he has to worry about his knees now too. It usually takes two seasons for a player coming off ACL injuries to be 100%
Man this must be devastating to Bulls' fans. I remember these feelings b/c all Rocket fans went through the same. First 07-08 year when Yao went down, then the next year with TMAC. Both of these years we had the team to possibly challenge for the championship, but injuries to our best player hurt us. Damn shame.
