Why am I addicted to this ridiculous game show? There's no knowledge or skill required, whatsoever, and the contestants are laughable at best. But... I just... can't... look... away... It's absolutely mesmerizing! Aaaaaaargggh!

The preacher was a trainwreck waiting to happen, and he had $200,000 in his case and settled for $56,000

I told my wife when he picked the first high figure case that it was going to be all downhill from there. I was right.

You aren't alone. I can't figure out what intregues me about it but I keep coming back. Bummer about the preacher. And another bummer about the teamster. $3m in his case. But if it came down to those last 2 cases ($1 and $3,000,000), you'd have to take the offer. 50/50 that you will walk with only a $1? I couldn't take that chance.

My theory is that if you choosing and you hit one that is rather large, the ones on either side will be small. Of course I could be all wrong too. My family is too mellow for us to ever make it but nice money in a short amount of time - and you don't have to eat bugs.

Does he have a producer feeding him the chicks' names in an earpiece? I don't think I could remember the names of all 26 chicks...

Personally, I think the show would be cooler if the "banker" had a cool voice and said the dollar amounts where everybody could hear instead of a private phone call to Howie. They could even have a different celebrity voice every week and have a "guess the voice" contest for the viewers...

    Matty Day !!

The guy took the $675,000 but he had the $3,000,000 in his case. At the point he took the money it was only going to go up from there.

He probably would have walked with over 1 million.

    WOW !!

Actually, his next choice would have been the $1,000,000 case. The offer would have gone down to $610,000. At that point, since the $3,000,000, was the only case left higher than $610,000 he definitely would have (or should have taken the offer).

That's the exact kind of thinking that ruins the majority of the contestants. They always get down to one big number and like 5 small numbers left, and then they just keep on picking until they crap out. It's about quitting at the right time.

Once, this guy's kids were begging him to stop. Even kids with no concept of money knew that he could walk away with enough money to go to Fiji, which was their goal. The guy ignored them, kept picking until the million came out, and they went home with nothing.
