Sickening. Sounds like the Jameis Winston story 25 years from now.

He'll be in prison for the next 20 to 25 years? Seems too short.

Worst part of the story is this section from one of his sons that he didn't raise with one of the many women he used:

Good grief. That kid is going to abuse a woman at some point in his life.

Other than rape, he has given back to the community positively. He is a Super Bowl champ and multiple time All Pro and Pro Bowler. I'm sure that has been taken into account by the judge and jury when it comes to the sentencing.

So? That's his JOB and that's what he's supposed to do (win) on the field. That shouldn't sway the judge one way or the other, and court evidence and trial should be the only things that matter.

What you said about his NFL accomplishments is B.S. to use.

By what you said (not saying you're defending the judge/jury's decision, but) that means that Joe Montana and Brett Favre can get away with murder.

I think it's just a kid halfway in denial, and halfway trying to stick up for his daddy. Don't think that in and of itself is an indicator of future actions.

I do think it's funny though the remark about it not being in his father's nature. If it wasn't in his nature he wouldn't have done it. Everyone has the possibility of doing bad things in their "nature". It's where the phrase "No one's perfect" comes from.

You've been around far too long to fall for Brightside's schtick. Come on now, Swol.
