    I'm trying to understand the point of this thread?

    You're offering dating advice to others, because you got a kiss on the cheek and FB info swap with a "friend"
    You're concerned because you see far too many people end up separating
    And yet you're not in a relationship
    You're old, and you've not been married
    You see fit to offer dating advice after someone talks to you [it's a long way from clear that she's even interested in you romantically!!]

    Based on the above I can strongly recommend that nobody takes dating advice from this guy.

    I've been married, kid. And honestly, I enjoy dating. I take no issue with anyone who marries the first one that will have them. You shouldn't take an issue with someone who enjoys not being married.
