Guys I haven't been dating new people in about 8 years now (as I was in a relationship), so needing some advice here. Ok, I met this girl at coffee this afternoon (friday) introduced through a friend. Got to know her a bit and chatted for about an hour. she gave me her number afterwards. She was nice and quite cute. My friend told me that she was interested in me as well. tomorrow is saturday which I am assuming she has some kind of plans. Question: How long do I wait to call her? In that I mean do I call during that weekend when she already has plans or wait till next week? thanks in advance guys.

I think you nailed it with coffee. I don't like the whole classic dating scenario on the first date. Coffee is usually during the day, it's a stimulant, it's cheap, and you are both lively and in a place where you can communicate fully with your bodies and your speech so you can really get a good feel on what each other are like. I agree with others- if you really like this chick, just call her. Don't assume that she 'has plans'....if she likes you, too, she will drop anything casual for you. Assume she's in to you and will make an effort, too. Come with the confidence that she likes you, and it will pay off.
