When I logged on to Clutchfans today, my browser (Chrome) alerted me that I should change my password for Clutchfans because of a data breach (this was not a phishing pop-up or advertisement). What's that all about?
Most likely your email and password that was used to login to Clutchfans came back as being compromised. Chrome does check that by default now. I would suggest changing your password immediately and any other sites you use the same one for.
Never really thought about it. I mostly surf from my tablet, and i just enter bbs.clutchfans.net. Most sites automatically reroute to https. I guess this one does not (?)
That happens with login. Gotta switch back again. Should up the response on @Clutch to change the links or redirect automatically to https
I am logged in and have the same issue - the site isn't secure. Also, I can no longer login using chrome. I was able to login on safari - but again the site shows up as "not secure"
I got a browser extension called "https everywhere" that redirects for you. I visit here on the phone mostly, so a real fix would be nice....
Something weird going on here. Not sure why the site no longer uses SSL. It's an invitation to be hacked. Also got a pop-up warning today by google that there was a data breach with this site and I should change my passwords.
it seems like the traffic has really dwindled here. fewer active or recent posts and all the same people ( me and you being some of those same) i think reddit suffers from too many people. here is a good number that since 2010 has dropped. seems that way at least.
