lol its not even about outplaying..its more about fit..Faried is obviously the energy guy in the starting 5 but i guess you don't see that and believe he's better than the bigs on the bench
Faried is way better than Jones, despite the numbers. There are things that aren't in the box score that seperates the 2. I would easily give up Jones and Dmo for Faried. The guy can guard any 4 in the league, and can even play the 5 if needed. Jones was dominated by LA. So it's more than just numbers, it's hustle, and defense that seperate the two. Not to take anything from Jones, he's an up and coming player, but Faried is already there.
or Or the coaches of team USA has practiced with the best big guys and found Faried worth making the starter over more established players.
hahah no hes not..even if he is arguably better its not by much. people here believe faried can shut down 4's. please thats terrible.
again i already mentioned the only thing that really separates the two significantly is probably motor. its definitely not defense.
ok OK I did. TJ has about the same exact MPG. The main thing is that Morey loves him and wants him. Also the coaches of team USA sees something. I will take their views of Faried over yours any day of the week. Look you are a TJ fan and that is OK. Many get blindsided by their loyalty. It is natural.
TJ fan..hahaha..if you only knew..its simple basketball and its called being realistic and not overrating players and believing they're something they are not.
Faried is going to discover the same thing next offseason that Monroe has this one......bigs that can't shoot or defend don't get paid the max. Still think Faried is a target to send to a 3rd team......not come here to Houston. He's essentially a better TJones on a shorter contract.
lol No I was impressed by how he was kicking our arse when we played Denver. The play was nice to see because it showed Harden and him working well together.
