i guess people just see a few highlight blocks and it translates to being a good defender..as stated earlier he has the same problems at t jones on defense
His points allowed per 100 possessions is very similar to TJones, as is his defense xRAPM per 100 possessions. He is a better rebounder, I'll grant you that. But from what I've seen he's not a great defender, and the advanced stats seem to agree.
And stats back yours and others statements up. Thanks for the harsh hit in reality. Faried's def. RAPM: -1.64 While Jones' def. RAPM: -1.45 I thought he would be at least better than Jones. Guess not. The silver lining is that based on RAPM Faried's offense is "better" than Jones'
Tj doesn't have the same opportunities has Faried does in Denver offensiveily. TJ plays within his role here and is steadily improving. Hopefully it continues this year. Faried's points are mostly based off hussle
I'm also hopeful that Jones continues to develop. He might never be an elite 4 but the way he's progressing he should be at least a very solid contributor.
Yeah, you know...long ago, when Cyber was asked and didn't know jack about any PHX situation..THIS GUY, King Drew was out in front.... So, his timeframe got messed up with Bledsoe/PHX meltdown.... Now, we have public posturing, while negotiations continue .... And, as has been previously stated the Rockets DO have contingency plans....for a star PG.
Cyberex losing points to me. Yesterday Rockets were interested in Bledsoe. Suddenly Morey doesn't like him. Only think I could figure is he's recieved a warning / wake up call from his source. So after all we are like 2 months ago, nobody knows nothing, no trade rumors on the media invovling Rockets. But Rockets fans still want to believe in changes... Then complain about the Broussards and their multiple sources.... Consistent.
