Lmao? What’s so funny? It’s not just what I think.... it’s a legit topic amongst people who follow basketball and it has been for quite some time. https://ca.nba.com/news/case-for-sh...tball-hall-of-fame/1xvwcoslr9yon1p5wh65jkc9rn https://syndication.bleacherreport....date-for-the-basketball-hall-of-fame.amp.html
You didn't answer the question. I didn't ask you for someone else's opinion. I asked you why YOU think he's a hall of famer. I'm telling you he isn't, because he wasn't good enough. He was a great athlete and at times a very good player, but he was never great. I forgot he won a championship, which certainly helps his argument. If Kenny got in, I can certainly see him getting in. I just think that if I'm strictly going off the baseline "was this player great, or not?", Marion wouldn't get in. Then again, I'm guessing quite a few players that are already in wouldn't be.
I noticed his blocks arent all that meaningful because his teammates don't get the loose balls after the blocks.
Broken plays are highly effective even if it ends up being a basket. If can disrupt play number one and two, you've done a very good job. That is all you can ask for.
6 games in a row with 3+ blocks, hasn't been done since Yao in 2004-05 and 2002-03. If he goes to 7, you can go all the way back to Olajuwon who did it in 1994-95 twice! So it would be the first time in our franchise history in 15 years that someone had 3+ blocks in 7 games, but let's see if he can do it first. Granted Olajuwon had way more blocks on average, but still, it's a rare occurrence. The franchise high for this would be 13 by Olajuwon in 1992-93.
Straight up beast!!! Anyone still lamenting RoCo trade? https://spacecityscoop.com/2020/02/29/houston-rockets-covington-tucker-best-defensive-duos/
Jason Tatum dunked on Covington in the post with under five minutes in the fourth. I'm sure covingtin will be featured on YouTube Tatum highlights for years after last night!
Robert Covington and P.J. Tucker Minutes played together: 201 Team defensive rating: 109.8 (15th in the NBA) Defensive rating together: 102.8 Together, the duo of Tucker and Covington currently have a defensive rating of 102.8, which is virtually the same as number five on this list, Lebron and Anthony Davis.
