Since the first page links are all broken, here's what I posted there: The Who/Mose Allison The Who/Eddie Cochran Joe Ely/Buddy Holly
And here's a few more that I don't think have been mentioned so far: Joe Ely/Robert Earl Keen, Jr. Willie Nelson/Rose and Acuff ZZ Top/Sam and Dave The Police/Written by Sting but originally released by Grace Jones Cheap Trick/Fats Domino
Some of yall prolly never seen this movie...it was all kinds of fun back in the 80's. My next post will be about "Take This Job and Shove It"
saw REK,Jr. play this at St. David's in Austin a few years back. as wonderful as it was, Joe Ely's version is better.
One of my least favorite Police songs, 2nd only to Mother. Really just an excuse for Sting to show off his saxophone skills. He didn't even play bass on this one.
I never saw Copeland stand to play drums before. I don't like it. I don't like drummers who stand! I'm against it!
Not sure if serious, but I'm pretty sure Stewie is just goofing around because they hated doing shows like this where they had to lip sync to the record instead of playing live.
