Cenac 6’11- 240 Sakcho- 6’10 240 Tugler- 6’8 with 7’6 wingspan 7’1 phenom next year. Top center in the nation (yes, irrelevant tonight) This game was lost with very poor shooting. Missed tons of open shots.
I really appreciate this team but ultimately it was a an odd team that lived on really tough mid range shots and like no inside presence it was fun
Because they’re shooting poorly of course it’s a bad game to do it. It’s a single game elimination tournament. Just like Texas picked a bad time to not box out Kaufmann-Renn
LOL no, Illini have shot all of 9 FT Can't explain UH shooting zero, other than all they want to do is jack up jumpshots
Unfortunately Uzan just wasn’t the same player this year. He turned it on a little bit lately but overall a disappointment. Cenac missed about 8 wide open mid range jumpers
That little hope was snuffed out quick. Illinois guys look like they’re in shooting practice kelvin might actually be better off with dogs instead of talent
The defensive rebounding issues are partly by design, due to the high hedge and traps. When there's two on the ball, good teams can exploit that. Illinois has the size, passing, rebounding and shooting to take advantage of all of our weaknesses in ways A&M couldn't do. We had a little bit of nice fight, but it's too little too late with the adjustments.
UH's kryptonite was a team with a large front line and a couple of guys who could shoot. UConn, Florida, Michigan, AZ, whoever.... oh...and Illinois
