Last I'll post of it, but this arena and the way it's been filled for the Oregon and LSU games is beautiful. One of Fertitta's best investments.
Yes, I watched that game! By "in the mix" I'm talking breaking into the top 10, making the Elite 8/Final Four, etc. It'd be great to see the whole city get behind them again like the old days.
That looks so sweet. I think the last time I went to the Hof Pat Foster was their coach and Tim Moore was their stud. Who's supposed to be good in their conference just in case I need to go down and catch a game?
Cincinnati will once again be one of the top teams in college. they'll be nationally ranked pretty soon. Playing at the Fertitta Center on Feb 10th. That game should be just as electric as the oregon lsu matchups
The arena looked better when they added the drywall “luxury boxes” during the Coach Clyde era. Those things were about as sweet as the office we added ourselves to my girlfriend’s dad’s garage.
Cincinnati is the biggest in-conference competition, but UCF, Temple, and Tulsa should all be competitive games.
Prior to his injury, Jerreau wasn't playing due to a violation of team rules. Sampson declined to specify further as to what team rule was violated, but it seemed like it was some sort of off-court issue.
They are a tough match-up for us. Our bigs need to play smart and stay out of foul trouble and Corey Davis as well as a few others need to rediscover their shooting touch. We are deep and talented and if we smart I think we will win.
Well, I had to look up what a Billiken was: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billiken That led me to former St. Louis coach John R. Bender: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_R._Bender ...who ended his career at Houston, and is the reason the UH mascot is the Cougars.
The wins keep getting harder and harder. I guess that's what you want to get ready for the tough opponents we will be up against in the American this year. I am ready for an easy one so we can get Wes Van Beck's brother in the game. Nice win. I hope they get all the bugs worked out with the clock in the newly refurbished arena. I thought it was going to work against us but White calmly stepped up and hit his free throws after about a 20 minute wait. I think that after that we held the lead the rest of the game .Like the LSU game, we showed a lot of guts pulling this one out. First 10-0 start since 1967.
