So now a meme with two sentences is equivalent to a video of the president in multiple cases advocating for violence? Why are you actually afraid to engage and actually answer my question in a straightforward manner? Why do your priorities of who advocates for violence concentrate on low clout individuals vs the man who is the head of state of the world's most powerful nation? It's a reasonable question to ask. No?
Well this is definitely about Trump. Let's tackle this from a pragmatic aspect rather than a normative one where we just throw a bunch of "ought" statement's around. Let's assume we have no agency in controlling how easily triggered random Americans across the country are. So with that assumption, is Trump helping or hurting the divide that leads to these violent altercations?
Wait what? you are upgrading a poster for posting a picture with a "handful" yet the OP was about 1individual?
Nah. Just answer the question here if you want to engage in a discussion with me. It's relevant to the thread. If not, then no need to really reply.
if the question is "So with that assumption, is Trump helping or hurting the divide that leads to these violent altercations?" then I would say Trump is every bit as good at stoking the flames as Obama was with his brand of identity politics. Probably not the answer you're looking for, but the culture wars have been going on a lot longer than the Trump administration. I'm not a fan of Trump, but I'm also not a fan of the constant Trump-bashing that passes for P.C. these days
