A decent and thoughtful post. I guess I just lament that people can't control their emotions, whether it be MAGA or PP clothing/hats.
I'm wondering how people feel about the Black Conservative Movement folks who intentionally wear MAGA hats . . . serious question. Do these folks command respect or ridicule? Is it okay to commit violence against Black conservatives just like folks argued it was okay to punch a Nazi?
Yes. I think the best thing that can happen to our society would be to make politics boring again. Purposefully triggering the American people for stupid political gamesmanship is just straight up bad for society. The fact that I cannot bring up even the NFL to most of family without it ruining holidays that are supposed to be the best days of the year is sad. People are just naturally emotional and can snap at anything at any time. Poltical gamesmanship of this era just create such a wide opening for more and more emotional snaps... many of which can literally tear apart family’s and close friends.

I don't think much about them at all because they are not significant in numbers or ideas. So I spend my time focusing on other things.
The most inciting I'd agree with is verbal confrontation. Pretty damn crazy people getting beat up, shot and run over these issues... Echo chamber madness. I still have an illiberal soft spot for nazzis though. Maybe that's my trigger word like some is to "Socialist" or "Commies". Maybe Conservatives should wear all white hijabs to cover up their red hats...for modesty.

It's funny, I was thinking the same thing the other day. But, I'm not sure how it can be done, with all the media that we have today. It will take a collective shrugging of shoulders and turning away from politics; turning off the TV, etc. ...….
Most of the Dem candidates will be really bad for CNN, and MSNBC’s ratings. Of course Fox will chug along with wall to wall coverage of Biden the commie or Kamala the immigrant infiltrator. But for the most part Trump simply going away will be a good start. Something tells me though that he’s not just going to go away even if he loses and I predict a frustration with people who watch MSNBC and CNN over covering a former president for saying stupid sh$&. They just might not be able to help themselves.
