Important point all Trump fans have to realize. It exists because of Trump firing the FBI director whom he asked to get rid of the probe on Flynn.

This whole theory.... yeah. Good luck.

The longer this goes the worse it will get for the dems.

    This investigation is very widespread.

I can’t stand this assertion talk. Just say what you are trying to say and spare us please. Are you saying Hillary planted this Dossier because she thought she’d lose? Are you saying she’s a secret Russian spy planted for 30 years just waiting for Trump to come along? Just freakin say it.

Why in the world will an investigation into hacking our election designed to elect Trump somehow end up being bad for the Democrats? Or worse than it already is for them seeing as though they already got F-ed?

I am saying that it is going from Trump being the Russian agent to the democrats being the secret agents.

I'm hearing your beliefs. It's quite clear.

The investigation will continue and will conclude, if there is not yet another attempt at obstruction of justice.

I thought we knew this already. I'm not sure what is new here. I don't think this is surprising or upsetting to the vast majority of those who have been in support of this investigation since the very beginning.

Team Trump: You guys just want the investigation because you want to invalidate the election and hate Trump.

Almost everyone else: No, Hillary lost at least in part because of her own issues, and we don't really care about Hillary. We'd like to find out about any foreign adversary that tired to subvert our democracy.

Team Trump: Sure, just keep making excuses for why your candidate lost... a bunch of sore losers.

Almost everyone else: Winning or losing the election isn't what this investigation is really about. We'd like to get to the bottom of the interference from a foreign adversary. WE DON'T CARE THAT HILLARY LOST THE ELECTION BECAUSE OF HER OWN MISTAKES. We just want the investigation to continue and get to the bottom of what happened.

Team Trump: The investigation is a witch-hunt! How dare they listen to Trump Jr. who admitted with his own words meeting the Russians hoping they had illegally attained information which could help Trump win. You guys don't have one shred of evidence. You are just being poor losers. Shut the investigation down!

Almost everyone else: We support the investigation and who won or lost isn't that important.

(News released about the Podesta group and a Hillary donor)

Team Trump: Well, well, well... Now see what you get for wanting this investigation. Oh I bet you guys are sorry you wanted this investigation in the first place right? It's affecting your team now, too. BUUUUUURRRRRRRNNNNNNNN!

Almost everyone else: This was never about any team other than the United States, and this information doesn't have any effect on us at all. We still support the investigation and this doesn't change any of that. We'll wait until the information comes out and take a look at that time.

Team Trump (puzzled): Hmmm... I'm not sure why those guys aren't getting more upset now that the investigation uncovered something we believe is dirt about their team...

Of course there is nothing that is "interesting" about the fact that Clinton and the DNC funded the fake-pissgate dossier fabricating Russian ties in order to initiate a wiretap against a political opponent during the 2016 elections...Yup NOTHING TO SEE...NO new information:rolleyes:. Also to note: it is the washington compost reporting it...

Also before DNC and Clinton's took over Fusion GPS' research, there was a GOP candidate that funded the smear campaign. We will shortly find out who...

The crux of the Fusion GPS investigation is to determine if the prior administration knowingly utilized resources in order to spy and wiretap the then Candidate Trump...If this is nothing interesting, then I dont know what to say to you. People will go to jail for this

    Wait wait wait.

You think that Clinton funded a knowingly fake dossier to create a lie to allow her to subsequently wiretap trump during the 2016 election. And now you think the article has uncovered all of this, which will now result in someone going to jail, because you think it is illegal.

This is the reality you are currently purporting?

Of course, some of the things that were in the dossier have actually already been verified and were true.
Secondly, it's important to understand what a dossier actually is. A dossier isn't supposed to proven evidence. It is intelligence. It is information gathered. It may or may not be true and isn't ever presented as factual evidence.

    Trump: "Discredited and Fake Dossier"

From your tweet: "Officials have said the FBI has confirmed some of the information in the dossier".

Not really sure why who funded intelligence is important. It would be important if it were intentionally fabricated, however that doesn't seem to be the case.

Yes, some parts of the dossier have been verified and were demonstrably accurate. Other parts seem unlikely. To say the whole dossier is false is flat-out wrong.

Again a dossier is merely gathered intelligence. It is like collecting rumors. Some turn out to be true, and some end up not being true. Anyone who reads a dossier should know that the dossier isn't really presenting the information as fact or claiming that the information inside is accurate.

So @Commodore , I appreciate (or rather recognize the reality of) team politics. I do. And I know you've chosen a side pretty strongly.

But don't you think there's a way to defend what you believe in, and to continue attacks on liberals as awful Americans, etc., while not supporting the ways of The Donald? I just don't think, when history is written, carrying that man's water is going to be a very good look. He is a spectacularly flawed leader and human being, by really all measures. He is divisive, ill-informed, rash, and selfish. None of that is really debatable if one looks at the data from the last year and his last 70 years really.

Why is everyone brushing this off as "we already knew this" when we did not already know this?

What we knew were that Clinton donors funded some of the research. What we did not know was that the Clinton campaign and the DNC funded some of the research.

GPS Fusion also is involved in Magnitsky Act legal action. The same kind of legal cases that the "Russian government lawyer" was involved in.
