is that your best defense? bush and his "cabal" misled the whole country into going to war with iraq.. clinton, kerry together with american people were misled by your "cabal"..

i think you're definition of cabal is totally wacked.. Cheney 'cabal' hijacked US foreign policy

so why can't you answer the question straight up? isn't there concrete proof the bush and company misled the country?

Its more like Bush's administration tricked Bush who then promptly tricked us. And Colin Powell tried to extend the trickery to the UN but that didn't work out as well as it did on Congress and the general public here.

I understand where you are trying to get with this, but do you really defend their right to interfere? There has to be a stopping point.

No. As I posted earlier, I defend their right to protest. I think their method of protesting was wrong.

If you defend their right to free speech (a concept) but criticize their actual speech (an interfering reality), isn't that contradictory?

I think we all defend the right to free speech. Should they have been arrested though for being disruptive? MLK was. Ghandi was. Why aren't lowly Liberal Arts majors who want to tell other fellow students how and what to think?

Because you agree with them they get off lightly. And because I disagree with them, I think they deserve some punishment. Should the law be that arbitrary?

I defend everyone's right to free speech. I defend the American Nazi Party's right to free speech, even though I vehemently disagree with what they say.

And, what exactly do you mean by Because you agree with them they get off lightly. Exactly where the hell did I post that?

Giddy, you have a bad habit of putting words in other people's mouths. You need to stop doing that with me.

There's zero proof that any of those protestors are liberals; this thread is moronic.

So, who a person casts a ballot for in a Presidential election sets in stone what their ideology is?

I know some true conservatives who were so appalled by Dubya that they actually voted for Kerry in 2004. Want to meet them, texxxxy?

Bigtexxx, the simplicity of your thought process is mind-boggling. Rice University's curriculum has obviously dropped down to the San Jacinto college level.

LOL - I love how you try to pick apart little tangential points... Bottom line is that it's pretty safe to say these green haired people are liberal. That's obvious to all.

btw- I do like the use of the phrase, "sets in stone". I may start making use of that if that's cool with you

I'm sorry, I must have missed all those affirming posts you've made about GWB's administration and the Republican Party in general.

These kids disrupted an event not only for the military recruiters but for the other recruiters as well... and all we have to talk about is their right to free speech?

Are you saying that they should have been arrested then?

Yes, I'm pushing you for a more definitive stance.
