Great week of CFB this week... starts out great with Oregon and UCLA before the weekend starts... we got a few SEC battles on Saturday afternoon as wells as Big Ten and Big 12 battles. Primetime capper with a big 12 showdown. Could have some surprise upsets this week also... I'm thinking one of these top 10 teams goes down this week. Notable Games: UCLA-Oregon- ESPN 8 PM CST (THURS) Michigan State-Northwestern- ESPN 11 AM CST Iowa St.-Texas- 11 AM CST Syracuse-West Virginia- ESPN2 11 AM CST Penn St.-Minnesota- ESPNU 11 AM CST Rutgers-Pittsburgh- 11 AM CST Notre Dame-Navy- CBS 11 AM CST Mississippi-Arkansas- 11:30 AM CST LSU-Auburn- CBS 2:30 PM CST Wisconsin-Iowa- ABC/ESPN 2:30 PM CST Nebraska-Oklahoma St.- ABC 2:30 PM CST Kansas St.-Baylor- 2:30 PM CST Georgia Tech-Clemson- ABC/ESPN 2:30 PM CST UH-SMU- 2:30 PM CST Alabama-Tennessee- ESPN 6 PM CST Texas A&M-Kansas- 6 PM CST North Carolina-Miami- ESPN2 6:30 PM CST Oklahoma-Missouri- ABC 7 PM CST Air Force-TCU- 7 PM CST Washington-Arizona- ESPN 9:15 PM CST Big test for TCU agains a pretty good Air Force team. I'll be tuned into that Missouri-OU game for sure... should be a great one in Columbia. Bama and Tennessee could be interesting, though I fully expect Bama to take care of business on the road. Les Miles going into Auburn against Cam Newton and the gang... should be fun to watch also. Interesting to see how games will be played now that the first BCS rankings are out.
Yep, should be a good game vs air force. Hope they don't under estimate AF, and look past them @ Utah. AF was ranked last week till their loss. So they are a decent team. Last time TCU air force it was freezing cold on Oct. 10th @ AF.
They are going to need A LOT of help to get into a BCS bowl. I just don't see how they are going to make up enough ground to get there. Still a bit early to tell but I think the ten spots will go to Boise State TCU Oklahoma ACC Champion Big East Champion Big Ten Champion 2 SEC Schools PAC-10 Champion The last at large spot between PAC-10/Big Ten School And if Nebraska were to upset Oklahoma in the Big 12 championship, that could mess things up a little bit more.
lets just say im more sure of the fact that they would be in a bcs bowl if they win out, then sure about them actually winning the rest of there games.
UT always plays us tough....need a big win though to prove we're still one of the best in the nation. Hoping LSU beats Auburn....don't see it happening though.
What's the O/U on UH v. SMU? If it's not in the triple digits, somebody in Las Vegas is asleep at the wheel.
not sure...my dad, who's a longhorn fan (so you see the bias going in) thinks they'll beat A&M. it's in Waco this year. honestly, that's their best shot.
Texas is going to have their hands full. Will be interesting to see how Arizona plays without Foles. Scott is a good athlete but he was horrid last year. Hopefully the time on the bench has settled him down.
I could see that A&M is really struggling this year. The Hawkeyes are Iowa, Texas is playing Iowa State........who just lost 52-0 to Oklahoma..... DD
Uh, you do realize there's a Big 12 North team ahead of Nebraska by a game in the standings and by several slots in the BCS?
I honestly can't remember a College Football season I've paid less attention to than this one. Wonder why that is.
