    By the way, I don't know if any of you guys like to throw the football around but I'm going to bring one just in case. That way if there's a lot of people, those with next might not be so bored.

    Well, people can obviously do whatever they want there, but it wasn't my intention to swing the focus from basketball. I just thought it'd be nice to play catch with the football while waiting, instead of just sitting on our butts between games. Wasn't really envisioning a game breaking out, and certainly wasn't thinking softball :p

    Dude, I don't know if you were joking or not, but if you've never played Ultimate Frisbee before, you are missing out. I had a bunch of guys I used to play with up in Dallas, but down here I don't know anyone (actually, a poster on this site, Sonny, had some people he played with...and I played with his group once, but it never really worked out. I don't think he ever posts anymore).

    At any rate, not to take the focus away from basketball, but if anyone ever got an ultimate frisbee game going, either one-time or regular, I would be ALL for it. You get the fun for football with the exercise of soccer. Win/win.

    And I should be there tomorrow around 1, but I won't be able to stay as long as last week.

    And as far as how we play, I vote for the 2 games of 4 on 4. If that means some people don't show up, oh well. As others have mentioned, this is not as much about proving to everyone how great a basketball player you are as much as it is a bunch of guys getting together to have fun.

    I actually do have a pretty good white frisbee that I got at Academy's a while back, never used it tho. I remember in high school all the white kids played ultimate frisbee while my asian group was stuck with anime and magic cards.

    im down for any of the above..although i never got the point of jumping from 1 squre to the next in hopscotch. i like the idea of the football on the side.
    softball would be cool too sometime. change it up from time to time.
