eric gordon is the biggest x-factor in this series.

klay is on fire right now and the rockets are gonna need gordon to match or even get close to klay's production offensively.

Finally some actual competition. The Twolves and Jazz offered little resistance. This is gonna be good, dudes. Go Rockets!

How about also defend Klay more physical? But a body on him, make him work hard for his shots and make him feel you as a defender. Stop conceding points to the Warriors when you still get a chance to defend them. The Rockets must give good effort defensively and if the Warriors hit, they hit, nothing they can do about that, but leave it all on the floor when it comes to defense. I honestly think the Rockets if they give good effort have a decent shot at effecting the Warriors offense even though everyone under the sun seems ready to concede 120 PPG to the Warriors before the season even starts.

I don't think looking at the season series helps predict this series at all. Biggest reason, Andre Igoudala. He was out for all 3 meetings and he is a known Rocket killer. If they can slow him down, or if they can eliminate his drives, the Rockets can win this series. The bench will definitely have to step up though, Gordon, Luc, Green, and Nene can not take a plays off.

5 days to prepare. I have a feeling MDA will add new wrinkles to the O side of the ball that Warriors will not be expecting. Go Rockets!! It will be the D side of the ball though that will get the Ws!

How do you body someone that never dribbles? Thompson runs around and gets open off screens, he's not a physical scorer like Lebron. Shooters like that are incredibly hard to guard because any off-ball grabbing or pushing is almost automatically a foul. I remember prime Artest having a really hard time with Kevin Martin because Artest's physicality was taken completely out of the equation. Plus, Thompson is a third option now which really frees him up. Even a set shooter like Korver gets open threes every game because of all the attention Lebron gets. Our switching scheme is probably the best way to guard a team that has that much spacing and shooting, but they're still going to hit shots consistently.

even worse is guys like that have quick triggers who do not need to be set in any way to get their jumpshot off. they're able to square up regardless of motion or not. i dont consider korver just a set shooter. he can shoot off screens, curls, and off balance in addition to being set
