In fairness, Hinkie didn't get to complete that rebuild. They fired him due to league pressure and went with Colangelo who made lots of bad moves. Now they have Elton Brand who has made some rookie mistakes too. Who knows what they'd be if Hinkie would have remained at the helm. I have a sneaking suspicion he wouldn't be afraid to break up Embiid/Simmons to build a stronger team. Colangelo and Brand don't have the guts.

Ugly great win against a top team desperate for a win. All the ingredients were there for a Sixers win including an abysmal game by Westbrook who had to many wtf moments to count.

This was a showoff game to the league. I rather win this game than the Warriors game because this shows the power of the Rockets against fully armored 76ers. The XMas game was a mosquito bite in the winter.
Comments like this are just stupid. The guy was having a great game and was clutch in the final quarter, yet you're quick to jump on him when he makes a mistake. We were in no danger of losing this game as long as Harden was out there. I honestly don't get the hate when Harden literally makes a mistake or misses a few shots. Boggles my mind.
Last time I watched headband Harden I witnessed a huge game but an unfortunate loss against the Wizards. This time we saw the best closer in the league close the hell out of the game. Clint is now officially Embiid’s uncle, and despite a terrible 3rd quarter, Russ had some good and timely plays in the 4th. With Gordon back—albeit a bit rusty—and Hartenstein hopefully getting more used to the big leagues every game, we are suddenly a pretty damn deep team. This is a great way to start a 4 day break, hopefully the good guys can get some productive practices in and build even more chemistry.
