ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets vs Magic 10/5/2010 (PRESEASON)

Miami has put together an amazing outfit. This is all without Wade

 

I like people always freaking out in preseason basketball. Lakers suck the got blown out by the Wolves. Lakers probably won't make the playoffs.

 

The Rockets look like they have dead legs from training camp. Don't jump off the bridge just yet ppl.

 

Hill also looks like a bust..

The f**kin lakers last night were sucking it up against the da*n timberwolves... Guess they aren't contenders... SMH

 

Yeah rockets look like they are trying to be a half court time again since yao is back. i think they got use to the up and down run game from last year. so the first half looked bad to me.

 

Lol right on....either way our defense still sucks. lol

 

How is Johnson looking? Has Adelman put Johnson in yet?

It always make me laugh reading the overreactions of fans.

 

RA said he didn't like what he saw in the scrimmages. He said they weren't doing things right and weren't going hard enough. It shows.

I'm disappointed in Hill. I know it's a preseason game but it doesn't look like he is doing the little thing right. I will say this game was a success if I see him Box out once.

What I see from this game so far...Orlando playing like a team that is comfortable playing with each other from last year. Rockets playing like a team trying to come together. Not much to judge the state of the team by. They could lose every preseason game for all i care...just expecting improvements by regular season.

 

can someone give me a recap of the first half? No stats are listed on NBA.com

 

Magic look fresh and Howard is becoming a monster. Hard to beat.

So far we know:

1. Hayes did actually get an offense, as miraculous and out-there as that sounds. If he makes a few free-throws, I think I might faint.

2. Jordan Hill very overmatched against D-Howard, obviously, but very active and he doesn't look bad at all.

3. Yao is a bit slow.

Pretty much everyone on the Rockets are rusty.. And Howard has just been dominating and he looks like he is in mid-season form. Courtney Lee has been pretty stellar on defense, and Hill has been disappointing to say the least..
