Yeah, the moment a team is facing elimination, it's a series. Especially if both teams are facing elimination.

 

Can't wait for this game tonight. First time a playoff game has been in Target Center in 14 years, first time I've seen the Rockets play the Twolves in a playoff game and first Rockets' playoff game in person since the championship days. As a bit of serrendipity the first time the Twolves made it to the playoffs they were swept by the Dream, Barkley, Drexler Rockets in 1997. 21 years later lets see if history repeats itself!

 

Enjoy the game. At least there is no threat of it being snowed out.

Yeah, the 2 Rockets wins were incomplete games. We really need to see the Rockets put together a "complete game" with better shooting. This is the game to get that started.

Love the Rockets defense, but this team is going to have to have a much better shooting percentage moving forward or else they are going to be making things really hard on themselves.

 

Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

 

Do rockets purposely not win because supposedly extended rest ruins Hairdins shot?

 

The Rockets have been winning and losing while looking bad overall. It is time for a "good" game. It is time to "start" the championship run. Champions don't play like they have been playing, sloppy. Crank it up and break the Wolves.

Literally not every team in the NBA shot as many 3's as the Rockets did this year smartass.

The struggles we are seeing from KAT really are that this is his first playoffs. This is WHY playoff experience matters to young teams. Young players generally don't understand the level of intensity that is ratcheted up in the playoffs. And KAT is seeing Capela (who has experience) just playing at a higher level of intensity.

Wolves fans haven't experienced a home playoff game since 2004, I expect the place to be booming and extra hype

the Rockets better start the game with a lot of energy and intensity...win today and the series is over...the Wolves aren't coming back from a 3-0 deficit, and their souls will be crushed with a loss tonight

 

Isn't the treat of the 3 from the other players is what gives them all the space for their mid range game? You cant be a threat if your not shooting it, right ?

Our game plan since day one has always been take what the defense offers. You cant play mid range if the opponent takes that away by packing the paint.
