Getting this thread started early. I like it! If we can somehow manage Westbrook, then I'll have more confidence in us guarding the elite PG's in the playoffs.

If I were McHale, I would start Brewer. He's the only guy who's quick enough to guard Westbrook.

Westbrook has been shooting poorly lately. I say we let him shoot his team out of the game. You can't stop WB. Too quick too good, but you can stop everyone else.

Sure. But you want to make him take tough contested shots. Terry's got no chance of keeping in front of Westbrook.

I'm sure we're going to stick Ariza/Harden/Brewer on WB and leave Prigs/JET to guard the 2. I'm curious as to whether Nick gets extensive PT to guard Russ

Waiters is a tough cover as well. They have a lot of weapons. Augustin dropped 20+ points on us last time we met him. Morrow is a knock down shooter. Kanter has been playing extremely well. This is gonna be a tough game for the Rockets.

Let Westbrook get his stats but make him do it inefficiently. 12-28 shooting and 7 TO type numbers.

Just no easy shots for Murrow or any of their shooting.

Harden must have a big game. No Ibaka to terrorize him and his drives and if he wants that scoring title/MVP he has to perform big. I can already see Skip Bayless going to town if Harden doesn't show up.

I hope we will beat OKC badly, but I do want them to beat the Grizzlies first.
The Pelicans have a much easier schedule than them, and have nearly caught up with them.

Early start to this thread. It'll be a tough one. OKC is good at home, and they may be desperate for a win if they lose tonight at Memphis since their next opponent after us is San Antonio.

If the Rockets can pull this one off, they're in great shape for the division title. The only remaining difficult games are the two against the Spurs.

OKC can do us a solid by beating Memphis then losing to us.

I figure they still owe us from the Harden trade?

And the fact that the tables have turned, after only two years, with the Rockets now as the high seed and OKC struggling just to make the playoffs.

The tears! They taste so good

The best part of the trade had to be that in one move, a team of spare parts turned into a contender in 10 months.

That is a real possibility, if only to experiment it before the playoffs. There is no way in hell Pablo will be able to keep up with Westbrook. Brewer is almost as fast, and with length to boot.

Want to throw a monkey wrench to opposing playoffs teams? Start Brewer at the two, and let him defend the enemy's pg. Terry and Prigs will have an easier time defending backup pgs. I could definitely see this if we lose the first two playoff games.
