    By eye test Brooks had a great game. He played great defense and had some clutch shots. He screwed up the first offensive and defensive posession of the game though. Team won and Brooks set the tone physically so I'm def satisfied with him in his role.

    It’s not just that- very very few players could get there as fast as he did…. Like maybe 5-10 players… then (like you said) the ability to split them and the body control to finish.

    This is the most comfortable he has been on a basketball court. I have seen his high school games/film and D-League and he wasn’t as comfortable and confident as he is right now… and he is getting even more engaged from game to game.

    I think he knew he was really good - but knowing it and actually doing it are two different things. He has done it over and over for about a month.

    Last time I was this excited and tense watching a Rocket game was when we were in the playoffs 4 years ago.

    Haven't felt this about a game in a LONG TIME.
