It could have been a much closer game, I agree. They're sort of a completely different team with/without Gobert. Not necessarily worse with him, just different. And possibly a better matchup for us.
Why didn't MDA call a timeout early in the 3rd? He just let them jump out to a huge lead at the critical point in the game. By the time he did, we were down 19. Also its time for a new offensive philosophy. Its clearly not working.
Well I am glad I turned off the game in the 3rd quarter. I was tempted to keep watching but I could tell where it was headed. Would love it if my Rockets get back on track. S

I'm pretty apathetic toward this Rocket team at this point. Looks like they're going nowhere. Paul comes out saying no one can beat them in a 7 game series the other day and they go out and put forth this effort last night. Rox act like they are the Warriors coming off of multiple championships. Just a joke.
Unlike you, I dun possess a time capsule or machine. I am solely concerned with this part of this season.
D’Antoni never knows when to call time outs. Even last year that was a problem. He’s just content to let the other team dominate we’ll longer than they should before calling one.

Rockets just quit out there, just shameful. They just couldn't get over last year I guess. 15-16 all over again except it's like if Dwight were on a long term, $40 million/year deal.
The team has no fizz. Like a can of soda that's been open a couple of days. Team is just flat. It's a fine line between being good and bad in this league. Last year they had something to prove. This year it seems they just expected to pick up where they left off, but it's a new year. A different year.
