No defensive cupcakes this time. Smart, Brown, Tatum, Williams etc is a tough defense to score on. Tough test.

 

If Rockets beats Celtics in Boston, it might be the biggest surprise of the season.

was happy about last night, this one may not go as well. still hopeful.

 

This is a MUCH tougher matchup. Don't remotely expect a win, but would love to see them maintain the quick passes, cuts and movement from last night that made us look infinitely better on offense. Defensive end is likely to be a bit of a bloodbath, hope we manage to stay somewhat competitive

 

Tough test for Celtics also. Rockets frontcourt is stronger than Celtics. It will be a war to be won in backcourt battles.

 

Smart is a pg. That means either one of Tatum or Brown are playing forward position. There is no player on the Rockets close to that level of player between those two.

If the Rockets are a tough test for the Celtics then it's just the case of the NBA were every team has NBA caliber talent not because they are uniquely tough. Our record shows that.

 

Beating the Celtics would hurt our MIL pick.

Tari was very good against Derozan.Use the excuse-back to back no EGordon- Sacrifice Tari, play him against Tatum or Brown, let him to be fouled out. Rhythm problem for Celts, destroy them through Sengun+Jabari in paint (where Rockets is the best),JGreen and unselfish KPJ will be menaces for Celts, easy win.

According to data, if we want to win we ramp up Green's usage as in wins his usage jumps up higher compared to Sengun.

 

Jabari has worse fg% in the restricted area than Green, a 6'5" skinny guard, on fewer attempts at the rim per game. So Green is more efficient at the rim than Jabari and gets to the rim more.

Sengun is a different story. He's a beast in the paint.

 

First time Tatum & Brown see Tari, Bari, & Garuba. Things are changing in our Rocket World.

I appreciate you having some self awareness and making fun of yourself. Self deprecating humor is always a good look.

 

No way did somebody legit just try and say our frontcourt is better than the Celtics...No it isn't at all, in any universe. Go have a look at the stats for the starting frontcourt in their win against the Bucks...You'd actually have to be on a lot of drugs to believe that at this point of the rebuild, they're literal contenders.
