That is the dumbest stat. Why keep using it. When Tari had one of the worst games for any player all season a couple games ago, he was the only Rockets that was positive. It is a really bogus stat that means absolutely nothing worthwhile.
The second unit without Reed is awful beyond human comprehension. Games like this remind me why Udoka sat Reed for most of the season. Just look at the names: Tari, Okogie, Tate, Capela, Holiday, DFS like it feels like we’re lucky to even get 9 points from the second unit.
Chicago was like 70% from 3 and we were 10% from 3 for a really good portion of the game KD and Senguin woke up on the offensive end towards the end of the game, but senguin in particular kept making really lazy turnovers and not rotating as the help defender (think the wide open dunk towards the end of the game where he just watched), and KD will often not even try (and yes he went MJ towards the end of the game on offense) Amen was super reliable as usual Jabari was bad, but he has been the MVP and reliable...people need to stop hating Reed had a bad game. No ifs and or buts. Maybe his worst of the season. The issue is, that anytime he has a bad game people hyperfixate on the fact that a 2nd year 21 year old guard with first season of actually playing is getting these mistakes out of his system. Its so annoying reading the biased comments from posters here that will pick 1-5 or 1-8 games and use it justify not letting him play with the starters. If anything, him having a bad game shows that this team doesn't have ANY room for error when it comes to his shooting which shouldn't really be on him. What about Tari, DFS? Holiday also played well, but do people also not realize he had like 3 points? Overall the rockets just had a bad game, and Chicago had their best game of the season. We weren't going to win period. I think a couple of things can be true. There are games where Reed is worse on defense and when his offense isn't there (happens roughly 1 in 10 games to this extent---still much better than most of the team aka senguin etc), but the team can't afford not to play him and his deficiencies are exacerbated by the fact that again, Senguin and KD don't really play any defense and spend all their time blaming other people. Then theres the fact that you have dead weight in Tari and DFS. No production. Period. My answer: play the same exact way on offense but with senguin making less passes or cleaning some of it up in practice. It’s inexcusable with these TOs..no reason to make a pass to the crowd. On defense Reed has to get better on the switches but people aka @TheRealist137 @Puppet Master etc need to udnerstand the defense is schit regardless of if Reed is in or not.c. This team's help defense is abysmal. I highly doubt that Udoka is a defensive coach @J.R. @Dobbizzle

We are complete and total ass. Probably gonna go winless against all these tanking teams to close out the season. End up in the play in. Lose the 7/8 game. Face the Warriors (who beat the Blazers in the 9/10 game). Daddy Warriors beat the Rockets to claim the 8th seed. Rockets visit Cancun.
Sengun and Sheppard can’t play together on the floor. I don’t think fans appreciate how bad Sengun is defensively- and Reed can be exploited. Reed was terrible today. Sengun has got to go.
Hope he likes it in SAC or MIL. Half the time he doesn’t even put in effort. Dickerson was right about that
