I don’t understand why many fans just absolve players. We simply aren’t good enough. It’s very simple to me. All of these contenders have at least 2 guys that can hit big shots in big moments. Every team has at least 2 elite scorers. And our shooters for some crazy reason just can’t hit those open shots especially when it matters most.

 

This was the reason I was initially against hiring Ime. It showed bad judgment and an inability to put the good of the organization first over his own selfish perspective. And what do you know, those things are biting us in the ass. He doesn't have the humility to admit something isn't working or the brains to figure out how to fix it.

i just know Ime is the reason Fred got injured. Those cringe tandem shadow sparing matches ****ed up his knee. Fred and Ime were on a date, Fred ordered the lasagna and ****ed up his knee.

 

This team is psychologically weak. We saw a glimpse of this in the Silas years as they had issues closing out teams in the 4th or with leads as well. Smith, Eason and Sengun seems fragile mentally. Thompson seems stronger and jury is still out on Sheppard. For some reason these guys can’t hit timely buckets or big shots in big moments. Jabari has done it but very inconsistent. As much as people hated Fred that dude is mentally tough and hits huge shots and loves the big moments. Brooks was mentally tough as well. Underrated Tate is tough and a winner. The rest just seem so fragile.

This is why I put everything on management in terms of evaluating and building a team with mentally tough guys.

 

Harden failing in the playoffs is when I knew how futile sports fandom is. when Harden got his **** blocked by manu that one time.. i knew.. i knew waaay back then.. Plus the rockets go to the finals and all you get is a shirt, a hat, a trip to the parade, and bragging rights to other lames that don't matter.

i still think Rockets were collectively better than whatever Kd was going to bring at 38.

 

Kevin is a good shooter and efficient ISO scorer but he isn't a playmaker or good defender.

He is not the whole package.

The team already had their giant shares of 1 way players, this was not going to go well long term speaking.

If Rockets lose at PHX we're just 2 losses from equal. Rox have the tie-breaker with 3 wins already but our remaining schedule isn't a cakewalk at all. There aren't many bottom feeders and there's a trio of teams who seem to have our number.

 

The real adrenaline is the competition in the WCF and Finals.....that is about it......sums it up.

Some 2nd round fights are worth watching when they go 7.....for sure.

 

I AM THE OFFENSE

 

I find it funny many of these same fans who hate KD now pushed for the trade last year. They argued KD would solve all of our spacing issues while increasing our shooting efficiency. I said this all along when the news broke. The deal absolutely made no sense for this team
