Jones has been a revelation this season. The attention Howard gets has allowed him to roam free. He is a consistent jump shot and box-out-defense away from being a legit good starter in this league. He has made "the leap" that Morey is always referring to. He just needs a solid back up veteran at the four spot to teach him and support him through his inconsistencies.
Why don't you get it? The drop off from Lin to AB is not that much if any. The dropoff from Parsons to Brewer is immense.

The Bucks front line guys are super skinny. Giannis, Sanders, Ilyasona, Henson. Dwight, Jones, DMo, Casspi and Parsons are not close to "Pekovic Strong" or "Big Baby Thick" but they do outweigh the Bucks guys significantly.
