Well, I'm getting smoked. At least I'm winning in moes' league so will have a vested interest in next week's games there. Good luck in the finals, @SamCassell
Thanks @fadeaway! Down to my 3rd string QB and he goes off for 500+ yards and 4 TDs! Top 2 RBs out and my insurance policy produces again. It’s been a crazy season with the COVID stuff and injuries but exciting to still be in the running at the end.
The two underdogs make it to the Finals. But how did Caleb's team only come in 6th in the regular season: Rodgers, Lamb, Tyreek, Adams, Edmonds, Damien Harris, Schultz, Kirk, Sanders (K) and DAL (DST)? I can easily see Lamb, Hill and Adams all having monster games this week plus Rodgers, Harris and even Edmonds. Going to need some extra luck to pull this one out.
Haven't bothered to look back at the draft, but Caleb appears to have had the ultimate Zero RB build... three stud receivers (two of which should have been round one picks, the third WR a round two pick), a late(r) round QB (who is the likely MVP), and RBs that are now among the top 20 when its important. I am going with a QB that has largely disappointed (especially without DHop), one top WR, and two backup RBs. If Kelce doesn't play, or is impacted by COVID (seems most players struggle the first game back) I don't have a chance.
As someone who's never met this Caleb or seen his team at play, I want more details. What's the full lineup? What was his record? Is this his first fantasy season or is he a seasoned player? As the saying goes, inquiring minds want to know! Let's make this a Caleb-centric thread.
Since you ask so nicely... Rodgers, Lamb, Tyreek, Adams, Edmonds, Harris, Schultz, (Flex) Kirk, Sanders (K), DAL. Four IDPs (and even his IDPs are good, well, 3 are good): Parsons, Derwin James, Justin Simmons, and Germain Pratt. My underdog team: Murray, Renfrow, AJ Brown, Amon Ra St. Brown, Ronald Jones, Sony Michel, Kelce, (Flex) Van Jefferson, Zuerlien, PHI. My IDPs: CJ Mosley, Roquan Smith, Bobby Wagner, Bobby Okereke.
Sam, Caleb's juggernaut team would have totally smoked yours this past week. You are lucky you were up against me instead of him.
Not only do I agree with you, fade, but I think that Caleb would have gone undefeated in our league. Thank goodness we don't have such a legendary team to contend with.
Congratulations to @Rockets34Legend the 2021-22 champion! Definitely want to get Caleb in this league next year.
Again. Who the F is Caleb? That account Moes' uses? Pretends to be a kid so he can run 2 teams? That Caleb? C'mon.
Congrats man! I knew my day was done when early when Antonio Brown randomly retired mid-game. It was a good run and the best team all season won. Now I'm just waiting for the Caleb updates. It's gonna be a long offseason without knowing more about that final game.
Thanks SC. We had tied in the regular season, so I knew it was going to be a tough challenge when we met up again.
