3 Mins from U of H... or better yet... 5 mins from the Toy Box ^_^ other than that... s*** hole with nothing to do
It'd be interesting to do a poll like this: Inner Loop Houston Houston city limits Greater Houston area Texas South US North America Western Hemisphere Earth and people could pick the smallest radius they fall into.
Native to northern Virginia (real Virginia? more like DC area). Six years in China (Changchun, Shanghai). Seven years in Houston. Now in Augusta, GA (help!). BTW, TX is the south. That Lone Star claim doesn't cut it, if you know what went on with the Lone Star. Based on slavery, basically. Santa Anna outlawed slavery; "Texans" weren't down with that, so they went "Lone Star"; made sure to be on the Confederate side in the Civil War. Check out "Juneteenth" if you want to figure out whether TX qualifies as the south or not. Not to be hating. I miss Houston a lot.
Isnt Dalian and Houston sister-cities? I just remember when I worked for the city (houston not dalian) that there seemed to be a lot of trade missions and such between the two.
BAY AREA, CA. ROCKETS > WARRIORS. Well actually i'm in San Jose but that's not too far from the Bay. Got family down in Sugarland and visit every summer, or try to. I've been to 4 NBA games in my life and they are all Rockets/Warriors games. I just LOVE to mix it up.
born in the NYC, hopped around the US of A quite a bit, landed in sugar land in 1999 and been lovin the rox ever since.
With all due respect, you don't know **** from shinola. As someone who has a relative's name on the San Jacinto monument, I think I know a little bit about Texas. Your post is the very definition of simplistic. If you want to discuss this further, take it to D&D.
