Lots of "classic moments" seem to be considered "classic" because of the way they mocked decisions which ended up turning well. However, I don't think they're all that "classic" unless the Rockets actually win it all in the next couple years. This team has done nothing to make the moves look amazing yet, although I sure hope it comes true this year.
So the classic quote of some dude saying that Nicolaz T****kilivi is going to be better than Yao Ming just because he played Euro ball and Yao played China ball isn't good enough for you? Or like the one where DaDakota is saying Air Langhi is the future of the NBA?Winning it all wouldn't have anything to do with this.
I was mostly referring to the T-Mac trade "classics" - obviously it was a good trade, but they just don't all seem to be that classic.
"The day Jeff Van r****d gets fired will be one of the of happiest days of my life. I would rank it right up there with drafting Yao and trading for TMac. FIRE GUNDY!" Should that be a classic moment? DaDakota's comments on Dan Langhi are priceless though.
Nor Yao Ming, Shane Battier, and still undecided.......JJ Reddick. They can't all be winners, but no harm in swinging away, some say I swing too much, but really, they just aren't paying attention. DD
